NEW: The Kodak Everyday Original Preset Pack
Ektar, Gold 200, and Tri-X all have a special place in my heart.
As the founder of Mastin Labs, it 's been my mission to preserve the film looks I love in the form of Lightroom presets by shooting thousands of side by side shots of digital and film of the same exact photo.
I waited six years to tackle these last three film presets because they had to be perfect. And we did it!
After our last set of test shots on Oahu, I had enough data to finish all three film presets.
These three film presets form the most versatile Lightroom preset pack we've ever created and will give you a wide range of realistic film looks for your work no matter what you shoot.
Kodak Gold 200 is pure nostalgia with its naturally warm tones and glowing highlights. It's ideal for family photos and personal memories.
If you are over the age of 30, chances are your parents took photos of you as a kid on Kodak Gold!
A relatively new film, Ektar became my replacement for Velvia slide film, my favorite film for exotic travel photos and lush landscapes. The saturation of Velvia was mind-blowing, and I found this and more in Kodak's Ektar film.

During my time as a photojournalist (before digital!) Tri-X was my film of choice, both in terms of look and for the fact that it can be shot in any kind of light depending on how it is developed.
Tri-X is a gritty and sophisticated film, and really brings a lot of mood to a scene. Many iconic images in history and music were shot on Tri-X for it's versatility and timeless look.
